RHS Honorary Life member, Mr. Elwin Notley (above) and Mrs. Grace Pooley (right) were the first recipients of the Alan Hancock Memorial Service Award. The award recognises their decades of tireless service to the Society.

Long-time RHS member, Miss Annette Lee was recognised for her service to the Society as regular meeting hostess and meeting greeter.(Above)

OTHER INTERESTING NEWS

At the latest AGM of the Garden Clubs of Australia RHS Hon. President, Mrs. Cecily Rogers, was awarded the GCA Award for outstanding contribution by an individual to gardening and horticulture. Photo (right) shows GCA Hon. President, Mr. George Hoad presenting Mrs. Rogers with her certificate. It was wonderful that so many members of The RHS of NSW were also present at the event to share in celebrating this important milestone.  Congratulations Cecily!
